Concept development of a digital sports watch for Leopard Trek, exploring new product opportunities linked to the brand’s expansion strategy.
The project anticipated an emerging category — now widely known as sport bands — proposing a hybrid between performance tracking device and branded accessory.
The concept was inspired by the iconic wristbands associated with the cycling world and their strong connection to community and purpose, linking performance with a broader social message.
My role focused on defining the product concept and design language, combining materials such as anodised stainless steel and rubber, inspired by the construction of bicycle components.
The design integrates references to both the technical world of cycling and the symbolic value of wearable objects, creating a product positioned between sport equipment and meaningful branded item.
